Sterling Bathtub Refinishing offers bathtub refinishing as well as the resale of restored claw foot bathtubs. Bathtub resurfacing is the process of repairing a scratched, scoured, chipped or color dated bathtub. The resurfacing process begins with thoroughly cleaning the surface of the tub, which may include stripping any finishes previously applied. Afterwards, chips and scratches are repaired and the surface is prepared for a primer coat. Once this has been completed, the surface is sprayed with three coats of acrylic topcoat. The finish is standard white but may be tinted a variety of colors to meet customer desires.
